About Us: In addition to employing a Housing Resource Specialist, Community Mediation Services’ Housing Stability Program is devoted to reducing incidents of eviction and homelessness. These CMS programs provide at-risk tenants with an educational workshop about how to avoid getting caught up in the eviction process and provide tenants and landlords involved in an eviction-related conflict with access to a specially trained, impartial CMS mediator so they may be helped to reach a voluntary resolution to their dispute that allows the tenant to remain in his/her current housing or to voluntarily relocate to alternative stable housing.
